Head of Innovation, Prototyping & Pre-Development (m/w/d)

We are now looking for our results-oriented and tight-knit team, as a Designer for innovation, prototyping & pre-development. You will work very closely with the customers, innovators and the operational team within the hub to ensure that we capture trends, use the customers' voice to guide us as we explore new growth bets and have the right partners in place for a successful incubation process. You will work mainly with Innovations & Portfolio Development Engagement Directors and you will interface with Engagement Practice representatives and customers’ representatives. You will travel internationally and work in different cultural environments. The role requires strong IT background and excellent technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

To be passionate about innovation, prototyping and pre-development, taking the technical leadership in teams by showing the way to build products and solutions, sharing knowledge and making others grow. You will also take ownership for an idea and develop a prototype possible to integrate in our solutions, prepare and execute demos
Participate-inorlead analysis, pre-studies and feasibility studies of an existing or planned solution with internal and external customers. Able to work with given restrictions and constraints in order to match customer’srequirements
Able to be a technical writer for new services and industrialization of cloud based services
Owns the technical solution during the pre-sales phase and hand it over as required to Operations. Handle scope, risks, changes and customer’s requirements and expectations
Build customer relationships and articulate FroXx GmbHIT and ITCloud initiatives and solutionsto a technical audienceand non-technical audience
Understand customer’s needs and requirements and act as the customer’s advocate inside FroXx GmbH
Evaluate customer requirements, market situation, and competitivelandscape;contribute to value creation in portfolios and innovation.
Participate in all pre-sales and post-sales technical aspects of the customerengagements, including proof-of-concept, pilotphases and hand-over to project and operational teams
Participate to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and help MS Engagement Practice provide answers in a clear and concise way. Work together with MS Engagement Practice to answer SoCs
Prepare technical marketing materials, industrialization process,service development and service opportunities
Advance your professional skills by earning vendor and industry certifications

Skills and Requirements

We’re looking for candidates with a strong knowledge of IT Cloud, IoT technologies, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS within IT Cloud. You should be able to build customer relationships, articulate our vision, and make technical presentations to all levels of an organization, including C- levels. Good knowledge of Telecom technology and Telecom and IT industries is necessary.

Required Skills

University degree and/or Masters with a major in Telecom, IT or equivalent(Computer Science or Electrical Engineering);
Curios about new technologies, design thinking, innovation and thinking out of the box, seek to invent and impact
Very good understanding of virtual reality, augmented reality products and solutions
Highly skilled product knowledge from a system and function test point of view for at least one of the products: physical, virtualized, containerized.
In-depth understandingand experience of integration and verification including test tools and management and automation.
Experience from Troubleshooting, in different environments (Linux, UNIX etc.) and different tools and scripting competence
Very good in communicating and explaining our products and solutions.
You are Proactive, with an aim to seek problems and growing your knowledge but also an excellent teammate with high social skills
Forward-thinking and with good communication skills−Proficient in both written and spokenEnglish

Desired Skills (not mandatory)

Business Case handling and BC financial indicators deep understanding
Program and Project Management methodologies knowledge and hands on experience
SW Engineering methodologies (V-Model, Scrum, Agile, ...) knowledge and hands on experience−ITIL Framework knowledge and/or certification
Solution Architect expertise in IT Virtualized Architecture and Cloud Domain , Application Architecture design and delivery team sizing
IT Infrastructure (LAN-Storage-Server-DB) main architectures knowledge
Cloud application architectures, packages and processes/functionalities deep understanding as Solution Architect
Hands on experience with Cloud Commercial off the shelf products like: OPNFV, OPENSTACK, VMware, Mirantis, VCE

Experience needed

Minimum 5 years’ experiencein a IT multi-technology environment with large scale multi-platform networks and good experience in IT Cloud services
Significant experience in defining and architecting complex solution preferable in virtualized environments
